Hong Kong Suspended Flights
HK Flights to and from the United Kingdom remain suspended. Travellers who have stayed for more than two hours in the UK, Ireland, Brazil or South Africa in the past 21 days, including Hong Kong residents, will be barred from arriving in Hong Kong until further notice (see ‘Travel’).
Dual Citizenship No Longer Recognised!
Dual citizenship is no longer recognised in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region following the application of the Nationality Law of the People’s Republic of China (see ‘Local laws’).
As previously advised, Hong Kong’s National Security Law could be interpreted broadly and you could break the law without even know you are Breaking the Law!
If you’re concerned about the new law, reconsider your need to remain in Hong Kong (see ‘Local laws’).
We continue to advise:
Do not travel to Hong Kong due to the health risks from the COVID-19 pandemic and the significant disruptions to global travel.
